Country Gardens was founded by Richard “Dickie” Roby in 1985 as a family owned retail business offering primarily fresh fruits and vegetables. It has, over the years, grown into a robust operation providing a wide variety of food products, plants, flowers, garden accessories, as well as country hams and sausage prepared onsite.

‘Tis the Season for Giving

Every holiday season, there seems to be those stories where a person or groups of people are helped out through the generosity of others. It is always heartwarming to hear this news, and it makes us feel good about our fellow man or woman. After all, this is the season for giving.

Recently, one of these stories happened and it involves more than just helping out a group of people because it involves helping out an entire community. Richard “Dickie” Roby and Clarissa Gordon were going to sell their retail business, Country Gardens, but decided to do something else instead.
